III Jornadas de Periodistas y Comunicadoras de la Mediterránea
Marrakech los días 23 y 24 de octubre.
Introduction
General framework of the action
The intention of the Conference is to encourage the development
of an information and communication network accessible to the women
journalist and communicators of the Mediterranean and to the organizations
that work with the women from the perspective of gender in the whole
world..
The
beginning of this network goes back to several Mediterranean meetings
since 1992, but was in 2007 in the previous Conference of Barcelona
that we gave it the temporary name of Mediterranean Network of Information
and Communication of Gender (joined in turn with the International
Network of Journalists with Vision of Gender created in Mexico in
2005).
They
are days of exchange, of reflection, of debates and of getting in
touch on questions of interest that affect to the women and therefore
to the World.
The activities and actions that we suggest here are addressed to
women journalist and communicators and to people linked to associations,
NGO, groups of women and men of all the ages interested in the communication
and the journalism from a vision of gender.
It
is, then, a matter of deepening in a lot of contents and encouraging,
this way, the analysis on the subjects that concern the women affecting
the importance of a better treatment from the media and obtaining,
through the Network, a greater diffusion.
